Just Prompter Privacy Policy

Just Prompter is a product of Optical Legacy, LLC, a teleprompter app for Mac and Windows. It is built to work without collecting anything about you.

What the app stores

Your scripts and settings are saved only on your computer, in the app's own data folder. They are never uploaded. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking in the app.

Phone remote

The app can serve a small control page to a phone on your own local network. That page talks only to your computer over your Wi-Fi. Nothing passes through any server of ours.

Purchases

Mac App Store. Purchases and restores are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We receive no personal details from Apple about you.

Windows and direct downloads. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, under its privacy policy. When you activate a license key, the app sends the key and a short name for your computer (its hostname) to Lemon Squeezy's license service to confirm the key and count the activation. We do not run our own servers.

Files you import

Text, Markdown, Word, and PDF files you import are read on your computer and copied into your local scripts. They are not sent anywhere.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes and contact
